Our Physical Therapy Services

Motion Works Physical Therapy provides the highest level of musculoskeletal care through advanced techniques and education, including:

Manual Therapy - Skilled hands-on techniques used to decrease pain, increase range of motion, reduce inflammation and improve tissue repair. Manual therapy may include soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, traction and other techniques.

Exercise is a cornerstone of rehabilitation and is used with all patients, from acute post-surgical rehabilitation to return to sport training for athletes.

Functional Training - Functional exercise that involves training the body for activities performed in daily life, such as reaching, walking and stairs.

Neuromuscular Re-education - Therapeutic techniques used for the purpose of improving impaired movement, balance and coordination to enhance function.

Patient Education - Empowering you to be actively engaged throughout the rehabilitation process is the key to our success. We will make sure you understand your diagnosis and plan of care. We will make sure you understand the rationale behind each treatment and how to self-manage your injury. We will communicate with your referring physician when appropriate.
